Mars Petcare- Line 8 Flex Processing Operator- KKC

Required Shift:
1st Shift: Monday- Friday 7a- 3:30p
Description of Role:
Efficiently and safely produce and monitor production on Line 8, utilizing loaders, unloaders, fillers, and waterbath equipment
What are we looking for?
Minimum Requirements
- Must submit an OAP or Cross-bid form
- Must meet time in role (TIR) requirements- Current MPCO associates are NOT required to meet TIR
- 1+ years of manufacturing or warehouse experience
- Proficient in computer software’s including MS Office and E-mail
Preferred Qualifications:
- Technical degree or certification
- 2+ years manufacturing experience
Physical Requirements:
- Can perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Frequent lifting/carrying (10-50 lbs) and pushing/pulling (50-300 lbs)
- Frequent bending, stooping, twisting, handling, and gripping.
- Ability to work at elevated heights, climb stairs, lean over equipment, and operate in confined spaces.
- Ability to stand and work on feet for extended periods, with shifts lasting 12 hours
- Capable of working in hot, cold and wet conditions
- Proficient in understanding, communicating, reading, and writing in English.
What will be your Key Responsibilities?
- Accountable for the performance of multiple machines and processes, including loaders, unloaders, fillers, and waterbaths.
- Monitor production line activities, including optimization, downtime tracking, escalation management, quality checks, waste reporting, maintenance, quality assurance, and changeovers.
- Operate extruders in compliance with global standards, safety protocols, and monitoring requirements.
- Fulfill ad hoc requests from the leadership team or site management.
