Staff Program Manager, Marketing Enablement

Clio · Toronto, Canada · hybrid

Clio is the global leader in legal AI technology, empowering legal professionals and law firms of every size to work smarter, faster, and more securely.

We are transforming the legal experience for all by bettering the lives of legal professionals while increasing access to justice.

Summary:We are currently looking for a Staff Program Manager, Marketing Enablement to join our Marketing team. This role is open to candidates in Vancouver, Calgary or Toronto.

What your team does:Our global marketing team moves faster when the processes, data, and systems underneath it are built right. We're looking for a Staff Program Manager who treats marketing enablement as a comprehensive challenge: you design and build the AI-first processes that change how the team works day to day, not just the training that tells them how.

This is a staff-level individual contributor role for someone who wants to build, ship, and measure, not just run workshops. You're equally comfortable doing the user research to design a comprehensive solution, standing up a new AI-first process end to end, architecting a playbook system that scales, and proving with data that what you built actually moved the needle.

What you’ll work on:- Work Management Processes: Deeply understand our current tech stack, processes and challenges so you can design new, AI-first solutions. You’ll evaluate and pilot tools, build custom workflows, and integrations that put them directly into people's hands. You’ll set up the governance and access controls that keep usage safe, and instrument adoption so you know what's actually sticking.

- Department-wide process ownership: You’ll develop a roadmap to address department-wide opportunities like AI transformation, new hire onboarding, acquisition integration, and more that have impact across the department. You’ll design systems with feedback loops so the program improves itself over time.

- Skills Development Systems: Identify capability gaps across the team using data, then build the self-serve resources, certification tracking, and learning tools that close them at scale. Workshops are one input; the systems that make learning repeatable without you in the room are the real deliverable.

- Playbook & Process Tooling: Build and maintain the playbooks, SOPs, and lightweight internal tools that encode processes, reduce tribal knowledge, and let anyone on the team self-serve the right answer.

- Effectiveness Instrumentation: Build the dashboards and tracking that measure the impact: adoption rates, time-to-productivity, engagement, and qualitative signal. Report to the Director and use the data to decide what gets built next and what gets killed.

Who you’ll collaborate with:With the Director, Marketing Strategy & Enablement: Align the build roadmap with strategic priorities, define success metrics together, and make sure what you ship is sequenced and resourced to deliver real impact.

With IT and Legal: Partner closely to evaluate, procure, and safely deploy AI and productivity tools, with data privacy, security, and responsible-use requirements built in before anything launches.

With Marketing Sub-Team Leaders: Work with leaders across demand gen, content, brand, SEO, and marketing ops to understand their teams' capability gaps, co-design the tools and systems that solve them, and drive adoption within their functions.

What you bring:- 8+ years in marketing, revenue, or GTM enablement, learning & development, marketing operations, or a closely related technical field, with a track record of building systems and tools, not just running programs.

- Hands-on technical depth: You've built things. Comfort with APIs, prompt engineering, and automation tools (Zapier, Make, or similar) is table stakes. Reading and writing code (Python, JavaScript) lets you ship a workflow or integration yourself is a huge asset.

- AI fluency that's hands-on: You've evaluated, piloted, and shipped generative AI tools into real workflows, and you have a point of view on where they create leverage for marketers versus where they're hype.

- Martech and systems literacy: You understand how marketing's tool stack fits together (CRM, marketing automation, analytics, content and workflow tools) well enough to spot where a new tool or integration will break something downstream.

- Program management with a builder's bias: You design and run multiple initiatives with a high degree of autonomy, but your instinct is to build the system that solves the problem permanently rather than the one-time fix.

- Communication and influence: You can explain a technical decision to a non-technical stakeholder and a program outcome to an engineer. You earn trust quickly with both individual contributors and senior leaders.
