Join us as Senior Web Engineer to craft the web apps that 750,000+ European SMEs rely on every day, from the customer-facing features that make finance simpler to the design system powering every pixel of our product.
You will join one of our mission-based teams of 5 to 10 engineers, led by a dedicated Engineering Manager. You will work alongside backend, web, iOS, and Android engineers, as well as Product Managers and Designers, in either a Product team (building features used directly by customers) or a Platform team (developing the scalable foundations that help Product teams move faster). Your team owns a clear mission end-to-end, following our "you build it, you own it" approach, and you will stay connected to the wider Web community through our Web Guild. What you'll do
- Craft new features for our customers within a squad team, owning quality from design to production
- Grow in technical leadership: lead design discussions, share knowledge with fellow web engineers, and help improve the tools and practices that support web development across Qonto
- Be a key player in teamwork with Product, Design, and other Tech stacks
- Work AI-first: use AI as a default part of how you explore the codebase, draft technical designs, prototype solutions, and accelerate delivery, while keeping strong human judgment and quality standards
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Frontend engineering: You build production web applications with React.js, HTML and CSS. We don't use CSS libraries such as Tailwind, so you know how to write pure CSS
- Attention to detail: You strive for excellence in every aspect of your job. You don't gloss over minor issues and you understand that great work is the accumulation of many small things done right
- Communication: You explain your thoughts in a clear, organized, concise and accurate manner
- AI fluency and good judgment: You leverage AI to move faster (research, writing, coding, testing) while staying critical, validating outputs, and protecting the product's reliability and user trust

- Our own design system: You will contribute to and use our own design system and UI library, which we built from scratch
