ABOUT THE ROLE
Join a customer-facing engineering team delivering production-ready voice AI solutions for enterprise clients. You will work closely with customer teams and internal partners, helping shape the platform through practical implementation experience and feedback.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Lead projects from early prototypes through production deployment, communicating progress, risks, and decisions clearly.
- Build and integrate voice AI systems, applying effective prompting techniques for large language models.
- Develop full-stack integrations with enterprise tools such as CRMs, ERPs, and scheduling systems.
- Partner with sales to gather requirements, prototype demos, and present solution designs.
- Scope work, resolve delivery blockers, and keep customer and internal teams aligned.
- Turn repeated implementation patterns into reusable tools or platform components.
- Share customer feedback and recommendations that can inform product and go-to-market decisions.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- At least 5 years of experience in customer-facing engineering or technical roles, ideally across startups or in a long-term role at a larger technology company.
- Experience as a forward deployed engineer, solutions engineer, technical product manager, founder, or in a similar customer-facing role.
- Strong production engineering skills, with deep knowledge of distributed systems and experience building with React, Node.js, JavaScript, Python, and AWS.
- Experience delivering projects from prototype to production and collaborating directly with customers and cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and ownership, with comfort raising suggestions and working in fast-paced environments.
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field.
- Voice AI experience, enterprise integrations, or senior-level engineering experience is an advantage.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Base salary: $215,000 to $290,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
LOCATION
On-site in Redwood City, California. The role requires working in person six days per week.
