This position is in a shared office space and is a primarily in-person position located at 104 Southeastern Parkway, Franklin, TN 37064. Remote work will be scheduled in advance with the approval of the director. The standard hours for this position will fall between Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm. Occasional weekend or holiday work may be required.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Events Manager will lead the logistical planning and execution for three key fundraising events: Neighbor Serving Neighbor Dinner, Golf Fore GraceWorks, and the Turkey Trot. They will also assist in smaller events including the Church Appreciation Breakfast and others as assigned.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES for each event include the following:
- Event logistics: Manage planning and execution for the three key fundraising events (Neighbor Serving Neighbor Dinner, Golf Fore GraceWorks, and Turkey Trot) and smaller events as assigned, including annual and week-of timelines, packing lists, locations, permits, and coordination with all internal departments.
- Vendors, volunteers, and day-of execution: Secure and manage vendors and contracts, identify volunteer needs, and lead day-of volunteers and staff.
- Event budgets: Track expenses and bid out each service to multiple vendors.
- Sponsor care: Execute promised sponsorship promotions, ensure sponsors are welcomed, informed, thanked, and told of post-event results, and look for above-and-beyond ways to make them feel valued. Partner with the Director of Development.
- Fundraiser support: Create fundraising timelines and communication schedules so Development Team fundraisers know what to share and when, and ensure sponsor deliverables are met.
- Tracking and reporting: Track sponsorship targets, pledges, and gifts in the database, and build reports and dashboards comparing current-year metrics to prior years. Work with the Salesforce team and Director of Development to ensure accurate data.
- Marketing needs: Articulate needs for print, social media, email, webpages, giving links, and press releases, and set a marketing schedule for each event with the Marketing Department and Director of Development.
- Program content: Partner with Marketing, the Director of Development, and the CEO to create and gather program content for each event.
- Committees and debriefs: Lead event committees as needed (agendas, meetings, expectations) and host post-event debriefs to capture successes and changes for next year.
- Team participation: Attend Development Team meetings, react to change productively, and handle all other duties and essential tasks assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage volunteers at events and work with Volunteer Recruitment Manager to schedule them, supervise vendors for events.
