StraCon Services Group, LLC is seeking an Part-Time, Electronics Engineer, Junior at NAWCTSD Orlando FL.. The Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD) Orlando, FL, is the Navy's principal center for modeling, simulation and training systems technologies. The Electronics Engineer, Junior will support the analysis, design, development, fabrication, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electronic components and systems for military applications. The Part-Time Electronics Engineer, Junior will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following requirements:

Essential Job Duties:

- Analyze user needs and system requirements and create use cases describing how users will interact with electronic systems.

- Collaboratively prepare performance specifications describing the functions that designed components and systems will perform.

- Conduct trade studies, evaluate design options, perform feasibility and cost analyses, and prepare cost estimates for electronics projects, systems, and components.

- Develop logical and physical designs and prepare detailed specifications defining functional, performance, and interface requirements.

- Design electronic components and systems for military applications and prepare technical descriptions of engineered designs using assigned view templates.

- Create printed circuit board designs using circuit design software and use circuit design tools, such as SPICE, for design verification.

- Ensure designs and products comply with applicable safety and regulatory standards and support quality control measures for electronics fabrication.

- Construct electronic circuits and systems and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure products meet design requirements.

- Design and develop board-level test equipment and test programs; prepare test procedures and perform testing in accordance with approved procedures.

- Analyze test results, document deficiencies and observations in the assigned issue-tracking system, and evaluate systems for performance, reliability, and satisfaction of requirements.

- Prepare status reports, test reports, and other technical documentation; troubleshoot electronics issues and recommend modifications or repairs.

- Inspect and maintain electronic equipment, instruments, and systems, and support team meetings and engineering reviews with technical input on requirements, designs, development, and schedules.

Experience Requirements:

- Must have approximately 1 or more years of demonstrated engineering experience designing electronics, using computer-aided design software (e.g., SPICE), designing printed circuit boards, fabricating electronics systems, and performing electronics testing.

- Must have demonstrated experience using multi-meters, oscilloscopes, and function generators.

- Must have demonstrated knowledge of engineering theory and fundamentals, electronics design, quality assurance, reliability and maintainability, cost estimating, risk analysis, and metrics.

Education Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in electrical or computer engineering.

Certification Requirements:

- None required.

Security Requirements:

- U.S. Citizenship required.

- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance consistent with contract requirements.
