Why this role matters:As an IT Engineer you will provide critical IT support and administration for our global workforce, ensuring operational continuity with a specialized focus on endpoint management, access control, and our audiovisual solutions.
As a key member of our global IT team, your primary function is to support our worldwide operations. You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability of our daily IT systems, operating and maintaining our AV and meeting room solutions, and assisting users globally. You will have previous IT experience and be capable of handling a variety of technical challenges within our established systems.
In this role, you will blend dedicated endpoint and Identity & Access Management (IAM) operations with broader support duties, ensuring smooth and secure workflows for our global workforce.

Your day-to-day responsibilities- Global IT Support: Serve as a central pillar of our global IT operations by handling and resolving daily support requests, troubleshooting access, endpoint, and secure communication issues for staff worldwide.
- VIP & Executive Support: Act as a trusted point of contact for VIP and executive support requests, providing rapid response times and prioritized resolution to keep leadership productive and business-critical activities uninterrupted.
- Maintain Secure Communications Uptime: Operate, support, and troubleshoot our secure communications platforms and associated endpoint configurations to ensure continuous, encrypted, and reliable communication for critical operations.
- Meeting & AV Solutions: Operate, support, and troubleshoot our meeting room and audiovisual (AV) solutions to ensure reliable, high-quality collaboration for local and global meetings.
- Endpoint & Lifecycle Operations: Execute device provisioning workflows, apply standard MDM configurations, and ensure patching compliance across our hardware fleet (Windows, macOS, Linux) using established procedures.
- Identity & Access Management (IAM): Administer daily user access, SSO assignments, and permissions management for local and global operations, primarily utilizing Okta.
- Site Documentation: Create and maintain clear operational documentation for secure communications procedures, MDM configurations, and common issue resolutions.
What we’re looking forMust haves:
- Previous experience in a hands-on IT support, systems administration, or IT engineering role.
- Solid troubleshooting skills across multiple operating systems, specifically Windows, macOS, and hands-on experience working with Linux environments, including command-line administration, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Practical experience operating modern endpoint management tools (e.g., Intune, Kandji, Workspace One, Puppet, Ansible).
- Familiarity with identity and access management (IAM) platforms; specific experience with Okta is highly desirable.
- Proven experience working with complex AV and meeting room solutions (e.g., Logitech, Microsoft Teams Rooms, Crestron, Q-SYS, Extron), including setup, support, and troubleshooting; experience with custom-built AV setups for large event spaces is highly appreciated.
- Good understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, switching, VPNs) and experience troubleshooting secure network connectivity issues.
- Experience working with an enterprise IT Service Desk ticketing system.
- Ability to handle VIP support requests with urgency, discretion, and a strong service mindset, delivering speedy response times under pressure.
- Ability to manage daily operational priorities and communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.
Nice to haves:
- Experience with ITSM tools such as Jira Service Management, ServiceNow, or Freshservice, including working to SLAs.
- ITIL Foundation certification or a good understanding of ITIL practices (incident, request, and problem management).
- Experience running onboarding and offboarding for new and departing employees, including hardware setup and account handover.
- Hands-on experience with hardware troubleshooting, repairs, and managing IT asset inventory.
