Graham Family Dental Care in South Puyallup is looking for a skilled, friendly Dental Assistant to join our growing team. We provide modern, conservative care, and we believe every patient deserves to feel comfortable, cared for, and confident in their smile. Compensation: $22–$24/hour
Schedule (5 days/week)- Monday: 9 AM – 5 PM
- Tuesday: 10 AM – 6 PM
- Wednesday: 9 AM – 5 PM
- Thursday: 10 AM – 6 PM
- Alternating between Fridays and Saturdays: 8 AM – 2 PM
What You’ll Do- Prepare operatories and sterilize instruments
- Assist the dentist chairside using four-handed dentistry
- Take x-rays and intraoral photos
- Enter treatment plans accurately based on the doctor’s diagnosis
- Educate patients and give post-operative instructions
- Complete dental charting and coding
- Handle lab duties, including pouring models, taking impressions, and fabricating temporary crowns
- Help with administrative tasks such as answering phones, calling labs, and making patient follow-up calls
- Stock supplies and maintain equipment
- Accurately document and protect patient health information
What You’ll Bring- CPR/BLS certification (required)
- DANB certification (required for Washington State)
- Radiology certification (required)
- Completion of an accredited dental assisting program (preferred)
- Solid knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments
- Experience with dental software such as Open Dental or Dentrix
