- Work on-site with the client in Melbourne and lead all project delivery.
- Experience in delivering vendor solution delivery in Software Projects essential.
Our client is an international Technology Solutions provider delivering Software solutions to the Automotive Industry. And are seeking a Technical Project Manager to be the primary liaison between the client and the offshore team in India. This role bridges communication across geographies, translating business language into technical tasks and technical constraints into business impact. You will coordinate day-to-day on-site activities, manage delivery milestones and ensure seamless execution across distributed teams while maintaining transparency with stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Act as the primary liaison between client and offshore team, capturing requirements and translating them into actionable tasks.
- Provide status updates, issue escalations and decision inputs to stakeholders while managing expectations
- Ensure seamless communication across geographies, removing misunderstandings caused by time zones, language, or cultural gaps.
- Coordinate day-to-day onsite activities and delivery milestones, tracking project progress and schedules.
- Assist or lead project planning including timelines, milestones, and resource planning.
- Monitor progress versus plan and highlight risks early, ensuring milestones are delivered on time, within scope and budget.
- Identify risks early and drive mitigation plans, handling escalations and resolving blockers.
- Ensure deliverables meet client expectations and quality standards, reviewing outputs before client acceptance.
- Maintain status reports, RAID logs, meeting notes and ensure all project artifacts are well documented.
- Support sprint planning, backlog prioritisation, release coordination and deployment coordination.
About you
- Experience in managing Software development projects.
- Have a degree in Software or Technology related disciplines.
- Understand client business processes and product/domain context.
- Develop strong understanding of the clients business processes, dealer operations and customer journeys.
- Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint review, and stakeholder meetings.
- Identify opportunities to improve reliability, quality, security and operational efficiency.
- Recommend automation opportunities across testing, monitoring and operational processes.
- Experience liaising with offshore teams in India and multilingual skills highly regarded.
