Solutions Architect

Salary: $145 to $165 per hour (inc-Super)

- ACT office attendance once a quarter
Our client, an independent Federal Government regulator responsible for administering emissions reduction, carbon and renewable energy schemes, require the services of a Solutions Architect.
Duties:
- Develop and maintain solution architecture artefacts, including designs, diagrams, Architecture Decision Records, decision papers and other governance documentation.
- Provide architecture guidance throughout the delivery lifecycle and oversee implementation of approved designs through review, advice and technical decision-making.
- Evaluate emerging technologies, including Microsoft and Artificial Intelligence (AI) capabilities, and assess their secure and responsible integration into the CER technology ecosystem.
- Design end-to-end technology solutions that meet business, security, privacy, integration, performance and regulatory requirements.
Skills and Experience:
- Minimum three years’ experience in solution or software architecture role within government or a regulated environment, including development of end-to-end solution designs and architectural artefacts.
- Demonstrated experience working within a scaled agile delivery environment and providing architecture guidance throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Strong knowledge of architecture standards, frameworks, patterns and modelling techniques with a particular expertise in Microsoft and Azure technologies.
- Relevant professional certifications, such as TOGAF, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and relevant Microsoft certifications.
