RBM OF ATLANTA AUTOMOTIVE SERVICE ADMIN
Essential Job Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate should have documented experience working in Mercedes-Benz automotive service administration with knowledge of automotive parts, diagnostic procedures, repair procedures, and general vehicle knowledge.
- Ensure repair orders are accurate and complete according to Mercedes-Benz and dealership standards.
- Verify flagged technician labor and comments.
- Ensure corresponding parts, labor and applicable charges are billed correctly.
- Verify appropriate documentation is included
- Maintain and update the warranty accounting schedule, ensuring warranty-related transactions are reconciled daily.
- Submit and follow up on extended warranty claims in accordance with dealership procedures and warranty requirements.
- Follow up and process loaner vehicle reimbursement associated with extended warranty claims and maintain appropriate documentation.
- Prepare service quotes in MPI and assist with ensuring recommended services are accurately documented.
- Provide backup support for daily deposits and processing purchase orders, including preparing and organizing required documentation.
- Maintain accurate backup support by scanning and organizing repair orders and related documentation.
- Create repair orders for Parts warranty claims, ensuring required information and documents are included.
- Provide timely and accurate reports and administrative assistance as needed.
- Communicate with management and other departments through text, email, and phone regarding potential issues, questions, or missing information to help support a positive customer experience.
- Complete all required Mercedes-Benz and dealership training and actively develop knowledge of dealership processes and procedures.
- Abide by company policy and departmental best practices/procedures.
- Perform other related duties and administrative tasks as assigned.
