position overview

The Salesforce Data & Operations Coordinator supports the day-to-day administration and data management functions of the 4As Salesforce/Nimble AMS environment. This is an entry-level technical role focused on data quality, record maintenance, reporting, and operational support — serving as a key resource for keeping member data accurate, current, and actionable across the organization.

Working closely with the Nimble Database Manager and cross-functional stakeholders, this individual will spend the majority of their time directly in Salesforce: processing bulk data updates, building and maintaining reports, supporting data import/export workflows, and documenting operational procedures. This role is well-suited to someone who is detail-driven, technically curious, and eager to grow their Salesforce expertise in a mission-driven association environment.

position responsibilities

Core responsibilities and tasks include:

Data Management & Quality

-

Perform bulk data imports, exports, and updates using Data Loader or similar tools

-

Execute manual record updates and data corrections within Salesforce/Nimble AMS

-

Identify and resolve duplicate records; support ongoing deduplication efforts

-

Support Data Health projects, including data scrubbing and validation

-

Monitor data integrity and flag inconsistencies to the Nimble Database Manager

Reporting & Analysis

-

Build and maintain standard reports and dashboards within Salesforce

-

Pull and format data for staff requests, leadership reviews, and membership communications

-

Assist with tracking member rosters, engagement data, and participation records

Process Documentation & Support

-

Create and maintain SOPs and step-by-step documentation for recurring data processes

-

Document workflow configurations, field mappings, and data standards for team reference

Assist in the development of training materials for staff Salesforce users

Provide basic end-user support and troubleshooting for staff questions about Salesforce

Administration & Coordination

Support configuration of custom fields and objects under the direction of the Nimble Database Manager

Assist with testing and QA for system updates, new features, and workflow changes

Coordinate with Business Units on data requests and operational needs

Respond to member support requests related to data and Salesforce access, and assist with other duties as needed to support team and organizational goals.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field

Foundational knowledge of Salesforce; hands-on experience (including coursework, internships, or Trailhead) strongly preferred

Salesforce Administrator certification a plus — not required; support for certification provided

Comfort working with data: importing, exporting, cleaning, and organizing large record sets

-

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for data preparation and review

-

Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy

Familiarity with trade associations, membership organizations, or nonprofit environments is a plus

Experience with Nimble AMS, or willingness to learn association management systems

Occasional travel required for meetings and on-site event support
