I provide strategic guidance and hands-on support across the shared Procurement and Vendor Coordination role, working closely with the respective teams to drive alignment, growth and strong results.
My name is Arjan Kats and I’m the manager for the Vendor management team where the vendor coordination role is part off. Your role & influence as Central Startegic Buyer/Global Vendor CoordinatorThe overall responsibility of this role is to drive effective procurement, balancing cost efficiency and product availability. The role focuses on strategic sourcing and long-term value, while working closely with Vendor Management on vendor coordination, financial follow-up and related activities across Procurement, Marketing, Category Management and Finance. This role is divided so that 50% of your responsibilities will focus on Vendor coordinating and the other 50% on the Procurement role.
Together with your team, you will focus on driving effective procurement and ensuring product availability. The role also works closely with the Manager of Vendor Management, Benelux & Nordics, who is responsible for vendor coordination, including marketing claims, credit notes and month-end activities. Together, you will collaborate closely with Marketing, Category Management and Finance to ensure strong supplier performance and accurate financial follow-up.
Core activities:Drive procurement strategy and negotiations, optimize inventory and product availability while working closely with Global Procurement. The role is shared with Vendor Management and includes supporting vendor coordination activities such as marketing claims, credit notes, month-end processes and financial follow-up, ensuring efficiency and long-term value.

- You have experience within procurement, strategic sourcing, purchasing, supplier management, or a similar commercial role, with a proven ability to manage supplier relationships and negotiations.
- You have strong technical skills and are comfortable working with ERP systems, procurement tools, Excel, enabling you to analyze data and support financial follow-up activities.
