ABOUT THE ROLE
Join an early-stage B2B SaaS team building AI-powered revenue workflows for enterprise customers. As a founding deployment hire, you will turn complex customer data into dependable systems that support measurable business outcomes.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Lead customer deployments end to end, scoping data access and mapping undocumented warehouse schemas to business concepts such as churn, expansion, and recurring revenue.
- Build and validate semantic models by working with customer stakeholders to resolve conflicting definitions and encode them in verified SQL queries.
- Deploy agent workflows and pipelines in customer environments, then monitor their performance and business impact.
- Manage several concurrent engagements, collaborating with customer data and engineering teams while completing hands-on data work.
- Use internal agent tools and share feedback to improve evaluation guardrails, validation frameworks, and agent infrastructure.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Two to five years of experience in forward deployed engineering, data science, or customer-facing software engineering.
- Evidence of independently shipping production code or data pipelines and owning technical customer deployments end to end.
- Strong SQL and data warehouse skills, including experience working with undocumented or legacy schemas and validating results.
- Experience with Python, dbt, data warehousing, LLMs, AI agents, signal engineering, and evaluation frameworks.
- Data science or machine learning experience, or an academic foundation in statistics, mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, statistics, or a related quantitative discipline.
- Customer-facing experience, sound technical judgment, and comfort with detailed, hands-on data verification in a startup, consulting, or similarly fast-moving environment.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Base salary: $180,000 to $250,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
