About The Role
The Global Events Marketing Manager is responsible for planning, delivering and continuously improving ePS’s global customer events programme to strengthen customer relationships, support commercial growth and enhance the company’s brand.
The role owns the end-to-end delivery of global customer events, ensuring every event is strategically aligned, commercially focused and executed to the highest standard. Working closely with Regional Marketing Managers and cross-functional teams, the role ensures events consistently deliver an outstanding customer experience while achieving measurable business outcomes.
What You Will Do
- Lead the end-to-end planning and delivery of ePS user and customer conferences.
- Develop the event strategy, objectives, audience, theme, agenda and customer experience.
- Coordinate speakers, sessions, internal subject-matter experts and senior leaders.
- Own registration, attendee communications, accommodation, travel coordination and onsite customer support.
- Manage venues, agencies, production partners, suppliers, entertainment and event technology.
- Create and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, risk plans and contingency arrangements.
- Work with Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Product and regional teams to ensure conference content meets customer and business priorities.
- Develop integrated marketing campaigns to drive registration, attendance and engagement.
- Lead the delivery of global trade shows and provide support for selected regional events.
- Manage event budgets, contracts and supplier negotiations to achieve strong commercial value.
- Establish and report on success measures including attendance, engagement, customer feedback, pipeline, retention and return on investment.
- Lead onsite delivery and remain accountable for resolving operational issues during live events.
- Conduct post-event reviews and use feedback and performance data to improve future events.
- Other duties as assigned.
What You Bring
- Proven experience independently leading the end-to-end delivery of a user or customer conference within a B2B software, SaaS or enterprise technology company.
- Strong hands-on experience across conference strategy, agenda development, speaker management, registration, logistics, production, onsite delivery and post-event evaluation.
- Wider experience delivering B2B customer events, global trade shows and regional event programmes.
- Experience managing substantial event budgets, venues, agencies, production partners and suppliers.
- Strong understanding of how events support customer engagement, pipeline generation, retention and revenue.
- Experience working with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Product and senior leadership teams.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to manage complex, deadline-driven programmes independently.
- Experience using platforms such as Cvent, HubSpot, Eventbrite, ON24 or similar event and marketing systems.
- Excellent written and verbal Business English.
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally.
- Experience within packaging, manufacturing software or ERP would be beneficial but is not essential.
