Job Description:

In this role, you will serve as a Data Partnerships Manager within our Data Sustainability team, playing an integral role in the end-to-end acquisition, management, and sustainability of Cotality’s data supply network. You will strategically develop and nurture relationships with both traditional and emerging data providers, acting as the vital link between external suppliers and cross-functional internal teams to ensure critical data assets are secured and commercial, technical, and governance requirements are seamlessly met.

You will operate with resilience, commercial acumen, and strong problem-solving skills, hitting the ground running to evaluate new datasets, negotiate supplier agreements, and champion data quality and service-level performance. Partnering closely with teams across Data, Product, Engineering, and Legal, you will translate product requirements into high-value data partnerships, drive cost efficiencies, and secure the foundational intelligence that powers the property ecosystem.

What You’ll Be Doing:

- Data Acquisition & Strategic Sourcing: Research, identify, and source new data opportunities from both traditional and emerging data providers to meet evolving business and product needs.

- Dataset Evaluation & Recommendation: Assess incoming datasets and provide structured recommendations on their commercial value, suitability, and strategic alignment with product roadmaps.

- Commercial Negotiation & Contract Administration: Negotiate, execute, and administer supplier agreements, ensuring all commercial, technical, legal, and data governance standards are strictly achieved.

- Supplier Performance & Quality Monitoring: Track supplier performance and contractual obligations, proactively managing SLAs, data quality benchmarks, pricing, and invoicing.

- Cross-Functional Stakeholder Alignment: Build effective working relationships across Data, Product, Engineering, Legal, and senior leadership to align data acquisition priorities with broader organisational goals.

- Issue Resolution & Operational Efficiency: Serve as the primary escalation point to coordinate, triage, and resolve data supply and operational issues, while continuously identifying opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.

Job Qualifications:

What You’ll Bring:

- Commercial & Supplier Management Experience: 3+ years of experience in account management, supplier management, contract negotiation, or a related commercial relationship-focused role.

- Resilience & Problem-Solving: High resilience, adaptability, and proactive problem-solving capabilities to navigate complex challenges, manage competing priorities, and drive issues to resolution.

- Stakeholder Engagement & Communication: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with demonstrated ability to build trusted partnerships across diverse internal departments and external vendor networks.
