Integrated Business Planning Lead

storaenso · Nacka, Sweden

We are looking for an Integrated Business Planning Lead to shape, lead and continuously develop the IBP operating model for Business Area Cartonboard. In this highly influential role, you will bring Commercial, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance and Strategy together around one integrated planning process—turning insight into aligned choices, executable actions and sustainable results.

The position can be located in Helsinki, Stockholm or another Stora Enso location in Europe. At this stage, the role is planned as a project assignment until at least the end of 2027, with the final set-up to be confirmed before recruitment.

Key responsibilities

- Define the BA Cartonboard IBP operating model, governance and planning standards together with the Business Planning Director.

- Develop and drive the long-term implementation roadmap and capability development for integrated business planning across the Business Area.

- Facilitate the BA IBP process and governance forums, enabling fact-based executive decisions on demand, supply, financial outlook, strategic scenarios and business priorities.

- Facilitate cross-functional decisions that optimise customer service, inventory, production capacity, profitability and working capital.

- Ensure that planning decisions are translated into clear actions, ownership and measurable outcomes.

- Monitor planning-related performance indicators and lead corrective action when results deviate from targets.

- Lead continuous improvement, transformation and the adoption of analytics, digital solutions and leading planning practices.

You will act as the senior IBP expert and a trusted advisor to the Business Area Leadership Team. By facilitating a network of leaders, process owners and experts across functions and locations, you will build shared ownership and strengthen our ability to plan and perform as one team. You will also grow organisational capability through coaching, training and active planning communities.

The ideal candidate would have following qualifications:

- Experience in Sales and Operations Planning, integrated business planning, supply chain strategy or business transformation in a complex industrial environment, preferably including hands-on implementation of cross-functional planning processes.

- A proven ability to influence senior leaders and enable decisions with significant business impact.

- Strong understanding of financial and commercial planning, operations, supply chain and performance management.

- A track record of leading large-scale, cross-functional process transformation and sustainable change.

- Experience in leading change through senior experts, process owners, networks and functions across multiple locations, without relying only on formal line authority.

- Strong business acumen and an analytical approach, with the ability to connect planning choices to financial and operational outcomes.

- A relevant university degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance or a related field.

This is an opportunity to take a central role in shaping and implementing how BA Cartonboard plans, prioritises and delivers performance. You will work across the Business Area with broad visibility and a mandate to strengthen decision-making, accountability and execution. You will be part of a collaborative environment where ambition, analytical thinking, accountability and agility guide how we work — and where we achieve more together.
