SAP Application Test Engineer

Salary: $70 - $90 per hour (inc. super)
- 12 + 24 month contract – Jan 2027 start
- Baseline Security Clearance - QLD, ACT, VIC, NSW, SA
- Web browser / mobile devices/tablets testing
Our client, a Federal Government department based in Brisbane CBD, QLD, that delivers a range of welfare, health, child support and other supports, requires the services of an SAP Application Test Engineer for a 12 + 24 month contract.
Duties of the SAP Application Test Engineer:
- Execute assigned test cases at various stages of testing on appropriate testing platforms.
- Develop test plans, test cases, task cards, and supporting test data and/or requirements.
- Analyse and report on test activities and results.
- Identify, manage and document defects, programming errors and operational characteristics that are inconsistent with stated requirements and design specifications.
- Conduct testing to ensure the ICT service functions as per requirements.
- Create test data within external software vendor environment.
Skills and Experience - SAP Application Test Engineer:
Technical skills
- SAP CRM
- SAP S/4 HANA
- PEGA
- M204
- Siebel CRM
- Waterfall and Agile methodologies
- Testing tools – API, Postman, Optim, Mainframe
- Testing across web browser and mobile devices/tablets
- Prior experience within government or similar large-scale organisation preferred.
