What You'll Do

- Facilitate Kaizen events, rapid improvement activities, and structured problem-solving efforts.

- Apply Lean and continuous improvement tools such as 5S, Standard Work, Visual Management, Value Stream Mapping, 5 Why, Fishbone, A3, and PDCA.

- Analyze operational data and plant performance metrics to identify trends, losses, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.

- Support initiatives focused on OEE, downtime, scrap, labor efficiency, throughput, changeover time, and cost reduction.

- Coordinate CI projects from opportunity identification through implementation, including timelines, action items, results, and follow-up.

- Work with supervisors and team members to develop, implement, and sustain standardized processes and improvements.

- Develop and maintain visual management tools, dashboards, and performance metrics that make plant performance easy to understand and act upon.

- Help train and coach team members on Lean principles, problem-solving techniques, and continuous improvement practices.

- Encourage employee participation by helping create an environment where team members are comfortable identifying problems and suggesting solutions.

- Track and communicate the impact of improvement initiatives, including operational and financial results.

- Support new process, equipment, layout, and manufacturing method implementations.

- Help ensure improvements are sustained through follow-up, audits, standard work, and accountability.

- Serve as a change agent and resource to the plant, helping teams move from identifying problems to implementing practical solutions.
