ABOUT THE ROLE
Own product development end to end at an early-stage SaaS company serving merchants. You will shape what gets built, deliver polished features across the stack, and learn directly from customers.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Take product features from problem definition through implementation and production across frontend and backend.
- Speak with customers, review session replays, and use firsthand feedback to understand their needs.
- Make product and user-flow decisions as well as implementation decisions.
- Build thoughtful, carefully crafted user interfaces.
- Maintain a clean, approachable codebase that can support a growing engineering team.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Four to eight years of product engineering experience.
- Hands-on experience with TypeScript, React, and Node.js, including ownership of both frontend and backend work.
- Demonstrated ability to define and ship a feature end to end without relying on a detailed specification.
- Strong product and UI craft, with examples of well-considered interfaces.
- A computer science degree or equivalent strong computer science fundamentals.
- Experience at a growth-stage startup and with rigorous engineering practices.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and workflows.
- E-commerce or commerce-platform experience is a plus.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Base salary: $150,000 to $350,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is not available.
LOCATION
On-site in San Francisco, United States.
