Job Overview

The Project Manager - Integrations Specialist will lead the planning and execution of tuck-in integrations as firms, teams, clients, data, and technology are transitioned into Accuity's operating environment. This role sits at the intersection of project management, information systems, data analytics, and business operations. The successful candidate will coordinate cross-functional workstreams, translate business needs into actionable integration plans, and help move data and users from acquired or legacy systems into Accuity's practice management platform and other firm software.

The position is designed for a technology-oriented project manager or analyst who is comfortable working with IT teams, software vendors, business leaders, and data owners. The role requires strong systems thinking, data fluency, disciplined project execution, and the ability to identify and resolve issues during discovery, mapping, migration, testing, cutover, and post-integration stabilization.

Specific Responsibilities

Tuck-In Integration Project Leadership

• Lead tuck-in integration projects from pre-close planning and discovery through cutover, stabilization, and formal closeout.

• Develop and maintain detailed integration plans, workback schedules, milestones, dependencies, decision logs, risk registers, and task assignments across multiple concurrent projects.

• Coordinate workstreams involving practice management, time and billing, client records, document management, tax and audit applications, collaboration tools, identity and access, finance, HR, and other operational systems.

• Facilitate recurring integration meetings, document decisions and action items, assign owners, and drive follow-through to completion.

• Escalate risks, resource constraints, data-quality concerns, and unresolved decisions to firm leadership with clear options and recommended next steps.

Systems Discovery, Data Mapping & Migration Coordination

• Inventory the incoming organization's applications, data sources, user groups, workflows, integrations, licenses, and key system dependencies.

• Partner with business and technical subject-matter experts to document current-state and future-state processes and determine what data must be migrated, archived, retained, or retired.

• Coordinate data profiling, cleansing, field mapping, transformation rules, validation, reconciliation, and exception resolution for client, engagement, employee, billing, contact, and other operational data.

• Maintain source-to-target mapping documents and data-conversion trackers that clearly define ownership, requirements, status, and open issues.

• Support secure data transfer and migration activities while protecting confidential client, employee, and firm information.

• Coordinate trial conversions and confirm that migrated record counts, control totals, required fields, relationships, permissions, and key reports are complete and accurate.

Testing, Cutover & Stabilization

• Develop integration test plans, user acceptance testing scripts, readiness checklists, cutover plans, rollback contingencies, and go-live support schedules.

• Coordinate testing with IT, vendors, application owners, and end users; track defects and ensure critical issues are resolved before go-live.

• Manage cutover sequencing for data, users, permissions, software access, reporting, and business processes to minimize service disruption.

• Monitor post-go-live issues, prioritize remediation, communicate status, and transition stable processes to operational owners with appropriate documentation.

• Conduct post-integration reviews and capture lessons learned, reusable templates, and process improvements for future tuck-ins.

Cross-Functional Coordination & Change Management

• Serve as the central liaison among firm leadership, IT, operations, finance, HR, service-line leaders, external vendors, and incoming teams.

• Translate technical dependencies and data issues into clear business language, and convert business requirements into actionable work for technical teams.

• Provide regular reporting on project health, milestones, risks, decisions, data readiness, testing results, and stabilization progress.

• Build trusted relationships with incoming teams and provide organized, responsive support throughout the transition.

Integration Governance & Continuous Improvement

• Create and maintain repeatable integration playbooks, templates, checklists, system inventories, data dictionaries, and project documentation.

• Establish practical controls for data access, approvals, validation, issue tracking, and handoffs throughout the integration lifecycle.

• Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, improve data quality, reduce manual work, consolidate applications, and strengthen reporting.

• Support leadership in prioritizing integration initiatives and sequencing work based on business impact, risk, capacity, and readiness.

Secondary Facilities & Office Coordination

• When a tuck-in includes an office transition, coordinate the facilities workstream with landlords, contractors, movers, furniture vendors, and internal stakeholders.

• Track office readiness items such as space planning, furniture, network connectivity, phones, printers, access control, and employee move logistics.

• Facilities responsibilities are supporting components of integration projects and are not the primary focus of this position.

Qualifications and Attributes

• Experience: 2-3 years of project management, systems implementation, business analysis, data conversion, IT operations, or integration experience. Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, professional services firms, accounting firms, or multi-office organizations is strongly preferred.

• Systems and Data Fluency: Demonstrated ability to understand how data moves between systems, work with structured data, identify data-quality issues, and coordinate mapping, migration, validation, and reconciliation activities.

• Project Management: Proven ability to plan and drive multiple cross-functional projects, manage dependencies and risks, and move work from ambiguity to documented decisions and completed deliverables.

• Business Analysis: Ability to gather requirements, document workflows, identify gaps, and translate between business users and technical resources.

• Problem Solving: Strong critical thinking and root-cause analysis skills, with the judgment to distinguish urgent issues from lower-priority exceptions.
