Shipping, Receiving & Inventory Manager

Steves & Sons is seeking an experienced Shipping, Receiving & Inventory Manager to oversee inventory control, shipping, receiving, and transportation logistics at our manufacturing facility. This hands-on role is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, scheduling trucks, planning loads, and ensuring materials and finished products move efficiently and arrive on time.
The ideal candidate will have strong inventory management and logistics experience, excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage inventory accuracy, cycle counts, audits, reconciliations, and inventory adjustments.
- Coordinate shipping, receiving, truck scheduling, load planning, and transportation logistics.
- Verify incoming materials and shipping documentation for accuracy.
- Maintain inventory records in ERP and inventory management systems.
- Supervise and train team members while promoting safety, accuracy, and efficiency.
- Identify opportunities to improve warehouse operations, inventory control, and freight costs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; a degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field is preferred.
- 3–5 years of experience in inventory management, shipping and receiving, warehouse operations, or logistics.
- Previous supervisory or management experience preferred.
- Experience with ERP systems, inventory control, and transportation coordination.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
