Job Description Summary:
The primary responsibility of this role is to assemble and disassemble parts and subassemblies, conduct inspections, and perform maintenance and repairs as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble and disassemble parts and subassemblies following schematics, blueprints, and assembly instructions.
- Conduct thorough inspections to check for defects and ensure assembled products meet specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues to maintain production quality.
- Utilize a range of hand tools, power tools, and machinery effectively to complete assembly tasks.
- Position and align components manually or using hoists to facilitate accurate assembly.
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure compliance with standards.
- Prepare for assembly work by studying parts lists and gathering necessary tools and materials.
- Verify specifications by measuring completed components and making adjustments as needed.
- Maintain equipment by performing preventive maintenance and addressing any malfunctions.
- Ensure a safe and clean working environment by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
- Conserve resources by using equipment and supplies efficiently.
- Document production and quality actions by completing necessary forms and reports.
