Reporting to the Patient Care Services Director/Shift Manager, the Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for planning, directing, coordinating, and providing high quality, individualized patient care using the components of the nursing process.
Minimum Experience/Skills:
1+ year current med/surg/tele experience as an RN in an acute care facility
License/Certificates/Credentials:
- California RN license
- BLS
- ACLS certification (within 6 months of hire for new grads only)
- PALS certification (within 6 months)
- TCAR required within 12 months of hire/transfer . For current employees/transfers who have TNCC, TCAR must be obtained by October 1, 2019.
- Must obtain National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) education module within 6 months of hire or transfer into unit and must maintain thereafter.
- CNRN or CCRN preferred.
- Must have completed Walk-A-Mile within the past year.
