Manager of Scale
Visma e-conomic A/S · København, Denmark
At Visma e-conomic, more than 300,000 businesses rely on our platform to run their companies every day. Behind that trust is our dedicated WOW (Customer Service) organization and a continuous drive for product excellence.
As e-conomic accelerates its journey into an AI-driven SaaS platform, we are looking for a Manager of Scale to lead our specialized technical support team in this change where customer support and product development need to move closer together.
You will be leading a team of five technical specialists, located in our WOW department, who own API support, bug reporting and prioritisation, release communication, customer feedback and feature testing. Together, you’ll keep these areas running with quality and the customer at heart, while driving projects and building the operational workflows required to navigate our ongoing AI transformation.
Reporting into WOW leadership, you will serve as the strategic interlocutor between front-line operations and Product/Engineering bridging the gap between Customer Service and Product Development.
Key Responsibilities- People Leadership: Managing a small team of specialists, fostering good team dynamics, and supporting individual development day-to-day.
- Cross-Departmental Alignment: Establish a shared operating rhythm with Product, Engineering, and WOW Heroes to eliminate operational friction, align priorities and secure operational and strategic collaboration.
- Technical Operations Ownership: Oversee end-to-end technical support operations, including bug verification, release communication, API customer support, and feature testing.
- Hands on projects: Steer projects or project groups with important scope within security/compliance, larger development, incidents and so on.
- AI Capability Building: Actively engage with e-conomic’s AI transition, equipping the team with the tools, knowledge, and frameworks needed to handle evolving product capabilities.
Why this is unique- Positioned close to the customer: You work on technical projects and still see the customer impact directly.
- First External Strategic Perspective: Historically staffed internally, this role offers full autonomy to introduce modern SaaS escalation frameworks, streamline triage pipelines, and set new cross-departmental standards.
- High-Trust, Expert Team: You inherit an established team of deep product specialists with substantial seniority, meaning you can focus on strategic alignment, process design, and people development rather than micromanagement.
- Pivotal Timing: You step into the role at a critical inflection point as Denmark’s leading accounting platform integrates AI deeper into its core workflows.
What you bringWe are looking for an empathetic people leader who combines a structured, analytical mindset with technical fluency and strong cross-functional diplomacy.
- People Management: At least 2 years of experience managing a small team of specialists, fostering good team dynamics, and supporting individual development day-to-day.
- Stakeholder Management & Alignment: Experience from projects where you acted as a natural bridge between customer-facing and technical teams. You proactively seek information and create good relations, translate operational feedback into structured problem statements for Product and maintain healthy priorities so your team can stay focused on high-impact work.
- Hands-On Execution: A roll-up-your-sleeves mentality to master operational baselines, support workflows, and product specifics before driving high-level process redesign. Knowledge of e-conomic is a plus but not a requirement. Curiosity matters more, and we’ll give you a solid onboarding.
- Tech Fluency & experience with AI: Familiar with how web platforms and support operations work, with experience and an open mindset to explore AI features and help the team adapt as our product evolves.
- Languages: Fluency in both Danish and English (written and spoken) is required to engage effectively across all local teams and stakeholders.
Your e-conomic benefits- 🦋 Flexible Work Life: Adapt your work environment and hours to suit your lifestyle, with hybrid options available.
- 🤧 Family First: Unlimited child sick days.
- 🌍 Global Vibes: An international workplace with +30 nationalities.
- 💆🏻♀️ Well-being: Access a range of services to support your physical and mental health.

- 🏬 Prime Location: Located in Carlsberg Byen, equipped with the latest facilities.
