Job Summary
XAD Technologies is seeking an experienced and results-driven Civil Construction Manager to oversee and manage civil construction projects across the UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for project planning, site execution, resource allocation, subcontractor management, quality control, and timely project delivery while ensuring compliance with UAE construction standards, safety regulations, and project specifications.
The candidate should have strong experience in managing civil construction activities, leading site teams, coordinating with clients and consultants, and delivering projects within approved budgets and schedules.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- 10–12+ years of experience in civil construction and project management.
- Strong experience in UAE civil construction projects.
- Proven experience managing construction sites, project teams, subcontractors, and consultants.
- Strong knowledge of civil works, structural construction, construction methodologies, drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications.
- Experience in project planning, budgeting, cost control, resource allocation, and schedule management.
- Knowledge of UAE construction standards, municipality requirements, and relevant regulatory procedures.
- Strong understanding of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) requirements and quality management systems.
- Ability to manage multiple project activities and resolve technical and operational challenges.
- Excellent leadership, communication, coordination, and client-management skills.
- Strong reporting, documentation, and problem-solving abilities.
- UAE civil construction experience is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, manage, and execute civil construction projects from initiation through completion and handover.
- Supervise daily site operations, construction activities, and project execution to ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
- Lead and coordinate site engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, suppliers, and other project personnel.
- Monitor project progress, schedules, budgets, resource utilization, and overall performance.
- Ensure construction activities meet approved quality standards, technical specifications, and contractual requirements.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal departments.
- Review construction drawings, BOQs, method statements, work schedules, and project documentation.
- Manage procurement coordination, material availability, equipment allocation, and workforce planning.
- Ensure compliance with UAE construction regulations, municipality approvals, environmental requirements, and HSE standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings to identify delays, risks, and corrective actions.
- Identify and resolve technical issues, site constraints, construction delays, and subcontractor performance concerns.
- Monitor project costs, control variations, and support commercial teams in managing budgets and contractual obligations.
- Prepare and submit project progress reports, site records, technical updates, and management reports.
- Coordinate inspections, testing, approvals, and quality assurance activities throughout the construction process.
- Ensure timely completion, project handover, and closure of outstanding works and defects.
- Maintain effective communication with management and provide regular updates on project status, risks, costs, and milestones.
