ABOUT THE ROLE
Join the recruiting team at an early-stage AI/ML company and help shape its growing technical organization. You will lead full-cycle hiring across engineering, machine learning, and infrastructure, partnering closely with technical leaders to build a recruiting foundation that can scale.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Own full-cycle recruiting for technical roles, from sourcing and assessment through offer negotiation and close.
- Partner with engineering leaders to understand hiring needs, team goals, and candidate profiles.
- Build and refine interview processes, sourcing strategies, and recruiting resources as the organization grows.
- Source and engage passive candidates through research, outreach, referrals, and community building.
- Understand candidate motivations and guide candidates through a thoughtful, effective hiring experience.
- Manage pipelines, monitor funnel metrics and conversion rates, and keep stakeholders informed on hiring progress.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- At least 4 years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience, including 2 or more years hiring for software engineering, machine learning, or infrastructure roles.
- Experience recruiting at a growing startup, ideally in an early-stage or high-growth environment.
- A record of closing candidates in competitive AI/ML talent markets, supported by compelling outbound positioning.
- Experience building or improving recruiting processes, infrastructure, or resources.
- Familiarity with Greenhouse, LinkedIn Recruiter, and Ashby.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Base salary: $150,000 to $215,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is not available.

On-site in San Francisco, California.
