Senior Security Engineer

ABOUT THE ROLE
Join the security team at a rapidly growing enterprise AI company. You will partner with product engineers to embed security throughout the software development lifecycle and help protect sensitive customer data across a multi-tenant platform.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Design and implement application security controls, including secure coding practices, threat modeling, and vulnerability management.
- Work with product engineering teams to integrate security from design through deployment.
- Build security tooling and automation that helps developers identify and remediate vulnerabilities.
- Lead security code reviews and architecture assessments, with attention to AI integrations and customer data handling.
- Respond to application security incidents and drive improvements based on lessons learned.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- At least 4 years of software engineering experience and hands-on application or infrastructure security experience, or strong engineering experience and a clear interest in security.
- Experience with cloud security on GCP or AWS and familiarity with tools and practices such as Python, Kubernetes, CI/CD, SAST, DAST, IAST, and container security.
- Strong software engineering skills and the ability to communicate clearly and collaborate across teams.
- Experience in a fast-growing startup or similarly dynamic engineering environment is valued.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Base salary is $200,000 to $330,000 USD annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
