At Sener, we deliver complex and innovative rail and transportation infrastructure projects across the region. We are looking for an experienced Rail Systems Manager with 15–20 years of overall experience, including at least 10 years in the rail industry, to join our team in the UAE.
We welcome candidates with strong technical expertise in at least one rail systems discipline, such as Signaling, Telecommunications, or SCADA, and proven experience coordinating technical activities and multidisciplinary interfaces.
Key Job Responsibilities:
1. Coordinate rail systems engineering activities and provide technical leadership within your area of expertise.
2. Oversee engineering deliverables, technical reviews, and compliance with applicable standards and requirements.
3. Manage interfaces between rail systems and other engineering disciplines.
4. Support system integration, technical assurance, verification, testing, and commissioning activities.
5. Identify and resolve technical issues, interface challenges, and engineering risks.
6. Coordinate with clients, operators, contractors, suppliers, consultants, and multidisciplinary teams.
7. Provide technical guidance and support to engineering teams.
Job Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics and Telecommunications, Control Systems Engineering, or another relevant engineering discipline.
2. 15–20 years of overall professional experience.
3. Minimum 10 years of experience in the rail industry.
4. Strong technical background in at least one rail systems discipline, such as Signaling, Telecommunications, or SCADA.
5. Experience coordinating rail systems engineering activities, technical deliverables, and multidisciplinary interfaces.
6. Strong understanding of railway systems integration, engineering standards, technical assurance, and interface management.
7. Excellent English communication, stakeholder management, and technical coordination skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Experience with existing Dubai Metro systems and Thales or Hitachi solutions.
2. Experience on major metro or urban rail projects.
3. Exposure to system integration, interface management, testing, and commissioning.
4. Experience with international engineering consultancies, operators, or systems suppliers.
5. Familiarity with GCC railway standards and project requirements.
