Interim Production Manager Job Description
The Production Manager at Church on the Rock serves to accomplish our purpose by providing immediate oversight to the Wasilla Sunday Celebration Services, as well as Ministry and Special Events. This includes team building in the areas of sound, media, lighting, and video production. The Production Manager provides direct oversight to the Media Booth Team. The Production Manager will directly report to and work under the direction of the Worship Pastor. This position is part-time (24-31 hours per week) at Church on the Rock and will include regular designated office hours and duties.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sunday Celebration Services
• Perform as the primary Production Manager for Sunday Celebration services.
• Manage and operate the media booth for the Sunday Celebration services and other Wasilla events as needed.
• In coordination with central programming, update ProPresenter media each week to correspond with the order of the upcoming Sunday service announcements, worship, and teaching, and for all Wasilla campus-specific events as needed.
• Lead the Wasilla production meeting each week and ensure the Sunday service plan is complete.
• Audio setup, engineering, and operation for the worship rehearsal, Sunday morning service, and other events in the auditorium.
• Lighting design and operation for Sunday morning service and other events in the auditorium.
• Coordinate the livestream setup and operation, including ATEM operation, DAW engineering and operation, and camera operation, for Sunday morning services and other events in the auditorium.
• Edit the Sunday service and upload to the current streaming platforms.
2. Production Team Leadership, Management & Supervision
• Recruit, train, and maintain relationships with the production serve team through Christ-like leadership and guidance.
• Provide technological guidance and solutions, and develop systems to improve efficiency and maximize leaders’ time.
• Schedule the production team each month in U-Link, in coordination with the Campus Worship Pastor and the service or event needs.
• Work closely with the Central Media Director and the Executive Director of Engagement to ensure the highest production quality is maintained and the COTR culture is carried through each event and service.
• Propose and maintain an annual Production budget for the campus.
3. Special Event Support
• Attend the campus Ascent Classes to operate media, as well as present and recruit for media ministry.
• Be aware of any Centrally-managed events or initiatives (Impact AK, ECHO, SOMA, etc.) that require campus-level production & media support.
• Be available to provide any special or Central event media support at Wasilla Campus. 3
4. Additional Responsibilities
• Complete any tasks assigned by the Campus Pastor.
• Provide support to other staff members and ministry areas as needed.

Qualifications
• A born-again believer, baptized, filled with the Holy Spirit, and living under the lordship of Jesus Christ
• Minimum of three to five years of administrative or ministry support experience in a church environment
• Proficiency with or willing to learn tools and platforms such as Microsoft 365, Church Community Builder (U-Link), Resi, ProPresenter, and more
• Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
• Experience coordinating events, managing databases, and supporting team collaboration
• High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Current screening form and background check on file
